Logitech Guitar Control
Tonight is not about games but morre about a control in the style of a guitar. These guitars are so much better than the original Guitar hero guitars, they are made of wood and actuaklly feel like you are holding a real one. The reason for this is that they actually are real ones with the guts ripped out and replaced with the electronic stuff.
I bought the xbox one last year and the PS3 one today. Have to say I am very pleased with the quality of them, much bettr than the original ones. these are worth $500 RRP but I bought the xbox one for $70 and the PS3 one for $40 because the place I bought them from has been able to somehow sell them really cheap. The orange one is for Xbox and the black for PS3/PS2
I give them a 9/10

Super Mario All-Stars Wii
Well what can I say about this one. We all know Super Mario and if you don't there is something wrong. This is just a re-release of the Super Mario All-Stars that was on the Super Nintendo back in the early 90s, there were 2 versions, one including Super Mario World.
Unfortunately the Wii version did not include Super Mario World but that is OK because I had already downloaded it off the Wii shop. It does bring back good memories from when I used to play it on my cousins SNES as I never had one of my own until I was about 21.
The problem I did find with this are the controls, being wireless I did notice there is a tiny bit of lag from when pushing the buttons to when it actually happened on screen (This does happen with a few older games on newer consoles). Not to much but noticeable. But it still is a fun game to play. When buying Wii and DS games you get special codes to buy stuff from the nintendo website so I bought a classic control that resembles a SNES control, made playing a lot better but that mini lag was still there.
There is no graphical upgrade at all but they have made it look good on a HD tv as older games normally look like total rubbish. This was a limited edition games and from what I have seen it is hard to get in stores now. It came with a cd which has music from some of the Mario games but not that many which was dissapointing.
Overall I give it a 7/10 only reasons for that is because of no Super Mario World even though I said it doesn't bother, me they still should have included it and playing with a wireless control really doesn't feel the same as it did back in the day.
Next game will be tomorrow night just haven't decided which one yet.

Mortal Kombat
This is my first blog so hopefully will get better over time
MORTAL KOMBAT
Latest game I am playing is Mortal Kombat, this game has been banned over here but do you think that has stopped people? no, it hasn't.
I have to say this is probably one of the best versions to date. I don't know why it was banned as there are other games far worse than this that have been passed.
Well here are my thoughts. The graphics are pretty good, fighting not as fast as previous games. Not many fighters compared to other games. This one pretty much starts the series all over again without actually being a reboot. It has a story line which explains everything about how Shao Kahn is trying to take over other realms and how each fighter comes to get into the tournament.
It has a few side games like challenge tower where you play a hell of a lot of things like test your sight (which head is the ball under) and test your might (button mashing time). There is also a tag team fight where 2 fighters per player and a Krypt where you unlock new items like Fatalities and costumes.
I am actually very pleased overall with it and think it was well worth my pennies. I am basing this on the 360 version, I have the PS3 version on the way which includes Kratos from God of War and is playable in 3D on a 3D tv which I am looking forward to
I would give it a 9/10 only because I think the fighting could be a bit faster and needs more characters.
